Model C Prototypes

Spoke Prototypes! As we develop new products we make a lot of prototypes along the way.

We released our production Model C click pen in 2025.  We did a couple rounds off prototypes before arriving at the final version. These Clickstream prototypes feature a grooved barrel for the traditional Spoke look but we opted to forgo these features out of the gate due to the larger barrel diameter.  A version of this look will likely be back at some point.

While prototypes are not for everyone, they are a good ‘value’ from the standpoint that they cost us a good amount to make such small quantities for test and evaluation. Nevertheless, we sell them at our typical pen prices.

Why we do this…

  • We like (need) to recoup some of our costs

  • We know many people like the uniqueness of these

  • They’re prototypes, so they’re not always perfect

We only made 20 of these prototypes split among colors and different materials/finishes.
