icon poly prototypes

The Spoke Icon in aluminum was our first fountain pen offering. We decided to make the design in polyacetal plastic (known more commonly as the trade name Delrin). The plastic design required a good bit of adjustments to keep good structure. The wall thicknesses were increased and the Spoke signature slots were decreased from 6 to 4. The icon poly is still compatible with the existing range of icon aluminum/brass sleeves and aluminum/brass/Titanium grips.

We think it's a fun first pass... we've made 20 prototypes each of 6 different colors. We're offering 15 of each for sale. We won't be making this exact version again... we're undecided on making icon poly a standard product. If we do, we will continue to make refinements... but we're offering the initial prototypes for those who like such things:)
