Introducing Roady XL / Proto Aluminum with Acrylic Ice Swirl Cap
We could make the same pens over and over again... but where's the fun in that? We love trying new colors, new materials, and mixing things up.
For these prototypes, we used a funky blue tinted acrylic rod with some white swirl lines running through it for the cap. We paired the cap with grooved Titanium grips bare aluminum pen back barrels. We think it's an extra arctic look!

It's a prototype, what does that mean?
In this case, this is our first use of acrylic on our Roady pen caps. For these prototypes, we had 100 caps machined and netted 50 parts with what we thought was good looking 'swirl' and are building Roady and Roady XLs from those. If acrylic caps are well received. we will likely experiment with other colors/patterns in the future.
